Infinite Craft FAQ

Straight answers about the game, playing it, your progress and settings, and this site.

About the game

Is Infinite Craft free to play?

Yes. The game on this site is free to play in your browser, with nothing to download or install. The site is supported by ads, which is how we keep it free. Everything else here, including the guides, the combinations chart and the recipe explorer, is free to use as well.

Is this the original Infinite Craft from neal.fun?

No. The original Infinite Craft was created by developer Neal Agarwal and released on his site, neal.fun, on January 31, 2024. Infinite-Craft.gg is an unofficial fan site, and we aren't affiliated with or endorsed by Neal Agarwal or neal.fun.

The game you play here is our own version: the browser edition of our mobile app, Infinite Elements – AI Craft. It's built on the same idea of starting with four elements and combining them, but our guides and chart are checked against this game, not the original, so they may not match what you get on neal.fun.

Who makes this version of the game?

Our team does. We make the mobile app Infinite Elements – AI Craft, and this site is the browser version of that game, together with the guides, chart and recipe explorer we built around it. You can read more about us on our About page.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes, in two ways. You can open this site in your phone's browser and play right here, dragging elements with your finger. Or you can install our app, Infinite Elements – AI Craft, from the App Store or Google Play. On the App Store it's rated 4.7 out of 5 from about 16,000 ratings.

What languages is the game available in?

The game is available in ten languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Ukrainian. It starts in your device's language when it's one of these, and you can switch at any time in Settings under Language. Element names are translated too, while our guides use the English names, so switching the game to English makes a guide easiest to follow.

Do combinations ever change?

No. In this game, the same two elements always give the same result. The first time anyone tries a brand-new pair, the result is generated by AI, along with its own emoji. From then on, that pair gives the same thing every time, for everyone. That's what makes step-by-step guides possible. If a step in one of our guides gives you something else, check that you used exactly the two elements named: Lake and Ocean, for example, are different elements.

How many elements are there?

There's no fixed number. New pairs keep producing new results, so the game is open-ended. Even the first step branches quickly: the four starting elements alone give ten different results, and each of those can be combined with everything else you have. To give you a sense of scale, our recipe explorer indexes about 196,000 elements and 3.4 million known recipes, and that's only what's known so far.

How do I make Human?

Combine Life with Earth. The whole path from the starting elements takes seven combinations: Fire + Fire = Volcano, Volcano + Wind = Eruption, Earth + Wind = Dust, Dust + Earth = Planet, Eruption + Planet = Mars, Earth + Mars = Life, and finally Earth + Life = Human. The Human guide has the same steps on one page.

How do I make Life?

Life comes from Earth + Mars, and Mars comes from Eruption + Planet. Make Eruption from Volcano and Wind (Volcano is Fire + Fire), and make Planet from Dust and Earth (Dust is Earth + Wind). That's six combinations in all, and the Life guide lists them in order.

How do I make Time?

Time is Fire + Hourglass, and Hourglass is Glass + Sandstorm. For Glass, combine Water + Wind = Wave, Earth + Wave = Sand and Fire + Sand = Glass. For Sandstorm, combine Earth + Wind = Dust and Dust + Wind = Sandstorm. The Time guide puts all seven steps in order.

I'm stuck. Where can I find a recipe?

Start with our how-to-make guides, which cover 107 popular elements step by step. The combinations chart shows what the nine core elements make with 141 common elements, and the recipe explorer covers far more. For ways to find things on your own, see our tips page. A good first move is to test your newest element with Water, Fire, Wind and Earth, because most steps in our guides use at least one of them.

Progress and settings

Why did my progress disappear?

Your progress is saved in your browser, on your device. It disappears if you clear your browser's cookies and site data, if you played in a private or incognito window that has since been closed, if a cleanup tool or browser setting wipes site data automatically, or if someone used Full reset. It also won't show up in a different browser or on another device, because each one keeps its own save.

Unfortunately, once that data has been cleared, the saved progress is gone. To avoid losing a big collection, play in your usual browser and leave its site data for this site in place.

How do I reset the game?

Use Full reset. The game asks "Do you really want to reset?", and once you confirm, all of your discoveries are deleted and you're back to Water, Fire, Wind and Earth. This can't be undone. If you just want an empty workspace, use Clear the game board instead: it removes the items on the board and keeps everything in your list.

Can I delete elements I don't want?

Yes. Switch on Remove elements and select the elements you want to delete from your list. The rest of your discoveries stay where they are. If you change your mind, you can make a removed element again with the same combination. Removing an element only affects your own list; it doesn't change any recipe.

Is there a dark mode, and can I turn the sound off?

Yes to both. The game has a Dark mode toggle and a Sounds toggle, so you can switch either one on or off whenever you like. Dark mode is easier on the eyes in a dim room, and turning off the sound is handy when you're playing somewhere quiet.

Is Infinite Craft safe for kids?

The idea is simple and easy for children to pick up, but keep in mind that results are generated by AI. Many are everyday words like Steam, Plant or Rainbow, but nobody can predict every combination, and some results may not be suitable for younger children. Parents may want to supervise younger kids while they play. The site also shows ads.

How do you check your recipes?

Every step in our how-to-make guides was tested against this game, most recently in October 2026, and the combinations chart was checked against the game too. Because the same two elements always give the same result, a checked step should work for you exactly as written. If you find one that doesn't, please tell us.

We test each pair exactly as it's written in the guide. The recipe explorer is a separate, much larger index of known recipes that shows how to make an element and what it combines into.

How can I contact you?

Email us at hello@infinite-craft.gg. We read every message and usually reply within a few business days. The contact page explains what to include in a bug report or recipe correction.
